Don't “Contact us”

Many companies have a great product, a great website, carefully crafted words, and beautiful images.

And then they show their visitors generic contact forms, or worse, a mailto: link that opens Mail or (yikes) Outlook. And they have no automatic responder setup. You send them an email, and then you wait. 

There is a break between telling customers what you do, and engaging in a dialogue with them.
